earthTV and Orange extend Earthgrooves partnership

Orange Entertainment Music Productions and earthTV network renewed their partnership on Earthgrooves for another term of 10 years with automatic prolongation of another 2 years if not terminated by either party.

The partnership was originally found in 2003 for the production, distribution and marketing of the original Earthgrooves complication (later re-released as Vol. 1) and was extended in 2008 for the production of Earthgrooves Vol. 2.

Orange will remain to be responsible to provide all rights and licenses to the Earthgrooves Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 music to earthTV for the original production and distribution of any earthTV program with Earthgrooves music soundtrack.

earthTV will remain to be responsible for the production and distribution of the earthTV television programs with Earthgrooves music soundtrack.

earthTV will furthermore make sure any new license agreements for programs with Earthgrooves music include the following obligation to the Licensee of such program:

earthTV has the right to license the herein granted rights concerning the Programs to Licensee including the music incorporated by earthTV into the Licensed Program, provided that any fees payable to third parties or to Performing Rights Societies or similar collection bodies with respect to the music shall be borne by the Licensee. Upon request, earthTV shall provide Licensee with all available necessary information concerning the title, composer and publisher of all music incorporated by earthTV into the Licensed Program (e.g. GEMA list).
